- Fond of acting since childhood, Ruchita Jadhav often participated in various cultural functions in her school. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in college, she started her career in modelling and was featured in various print advertisements. She appeared in several TV commercials including Amul Macho and Pitara Namkeen Ad.

In fact, the creatives had told me that my character would be turning negative soon but now with the show going off air, that’s definitely not happening and hence, there is this regret. I think I should not have stuck to my commitment rather I should have moved on when I had got a better opportunity.”

I got a mail from Instagram that I had violated their policy, when I verified, I learned that my account got hacked as there were some random posts on my wall. Within a blink of a moment, I received series of What’sApp messages from a Turkish number asking me $500 USD. I immediately contacted Amol who managed to get my account back. When I posted a story online spreading awareness, the user sent me messages threatening to destroy my company”.
- In 2020, Ruchita Jadhav was featured in an English-language short film Enigma, directed by Abhay Thakur. Ruchita, in an interview, talked about the film and said that while undergoing the physical transformation for the film, she was admitted to a hospital. Ruchita said,
Yatin Karyekar, who has done so much work and people look up to him, sharing a screen space with a genius like him was one the most amazing experiences I had. He made me learn the entire script way before starting and rehearsing for the shoot. Working with him taught me a lot of technicalities of what a cinema is about and working with so many technically sound people taught me so much,” says Ruchita.The film was shot entirely in Pune’s Viman Nagar area. Describing her film as a beautiful journey, Ruchita says, “We shot this film on black camera, which is used internationally. The film has turned out to be such an amazing one, it is a suspense thriller and engages one till the end.We winded up the shoot in the first week of February. I was admitted because of the intensity of the role, now that I see the result, it was totally worth it. For the first time I have given my heart and soul to my character, I did not talk to my parent for a week. I literally forgot who I was while filming. During the shoot, I ate lots of samosas to gain weight. Why did I go all out, because I wanted to live the character and understand the problems. I actually lived every moment of her life
- In an interview, Ruchita Yadav talked about her career and acting and said that she had surpassed the phase where for becoming an actress, you had to be pretty. Ruchita explained,
I believe it’s time to break the bar. It is no longer looking pretty and looking skinny anymore on camera and we have surpassed that phase. For the role, I had to put on weight as the character suffers with something,” begins Ruchita who shares, “I have a huge problem losing weight, despite my body being so fragile, I had to gain weight as my role demanded it.”
